Antigua Sailing Week is the major regatta of the Caribbean season and one of the top five regattas in the world. Antigua Sailing Week justifiably has the reputation of being the hardest sailing/socializing regatta of the season. Winds can be higher than for the other regattas and the racing takes place on the ocean side of the Island with fairly large seas. With over 100 yachts participating the mainly windward leeward courses Antigua Sailing Week makes for some fantastic racing.
When racing with individuals on board, our objective is to provide each guest with a great time racing in the Caribbean. The two professional crew will train the crew to ensure that the racing is safe, fun and that each crew member is able to make a valuable contribution to the team effort. Although prior race or sailing experience is preferred, it is not essential. The 2 training days represent a great opportunity for each crew member to get familiar with the yacht and the racing manoeuvres.
